Powerplant Daylite Ballasts are a very reliable unit for striking your lamp on a regular basis and when compared to many other standard ballasts available, the Daylite outperforms them all.
Powerplant Daylite ballasts have intakes at the base to allow air into the unit easily and slots on the sides to allow the heat to escape, to help extend the life of the components inside. The ballasts are also finished in black matt paint to aid with cooling and rubber feet are fitted on all sizes to help protect floor surfaces and provide more noise reduction.
Daylite ballasts use super imposed pulse ignitors to reduce the high voltage load on the choke and this gives you a more reliable unit as the choke is not subject to high voltage ignition peaks. Daylite ballasts also light MH and HPS lamps and super imposed pulse ignitors are the most reliable method for starting Metal Halide lamps and High Pressure Sodium lamps operating from these types of wire bound ballast circuits.
Daylite ballasts provide quiet and cool running, are safe and very reliable and are designed and tested in the UK, one of the best standard ballasts available.
