2. Is it easy to order online from GreenSea Hydroponics?

Yes - Simply browse or search to the product you wish to purchase, adjust the quantity you require, and then click on the 'add' button to add this item to the shopping basket. Once you have selected all the items you require proceed to the checkout where you will be asked to provide delivery details and your credit card details will be taken from a secure server.

3. What details do you require and keep?

We require your name and address for billing and delivery.
Your credit card or debit card details for payment.
An email address to inform you we have received your order.
A telephone number so we can contact you if needed.

All these details will be removed upon completion of your order.

5. What shows on my bank statements and parcels?

It will appear as GreenSea only on your bank statement, and also only as GreenSea on your parcels.

6. Will you deliver to another address?

No, we will not send goods to any address if you pay by credit or debit card online or over the phone, we will only send the goods to the card holders registered address to prevent fraud.

Yes, we will send goods to any address if you phone us with your order and delivery address and we can then give you a price and our bank account details, you can then pay the cash amount into our bank account and once cleared we can then send the goods to any address you require.

7. Will you leave my parcels if I am out?

No, we require a signature with all deliveries and cannot leave any parcels in a garden or shed.

8. Which credit and debit cards do you accept?

We accept, Debit Mastercard, Delta, Electron, JCB, Maestro, UK Maestro and Visa.

9. Do your prices include VAT?

Yes, all our pricing includes VAT, except for our grow books which are VAT exempt.

10. Is there a minimum order value?

No, there is no minimum order value, but we do have a minimum carriage charge of £6.00 for up to 5kg, next working day delivery.

11. How do I know if a product is in stock?

We aim to keep all products in stock and available for next working day delivery within the UK. If you wish to check if a product is in stock, then give us a call and we can tell you immediately. If you place an order and an item is out of stock, we will contact you before processing your order and let you know when the product willl be available for delivery, you can then decide if you wish to proceed with the order.

12. How are the products packed?

All products are packaged extremely well to prevent any damage in transit, and plain packaging is used for all orders, small or large.

13. What do I do if I ordered the wrong product?

If you have ordered the wrong product and wish to return it to us to exchange it for another product, you can. We will require the product to be in original packaging and with a receipt of purchase. Give us a ring to inform us of your mistake and to discuss the new product you wish to receive. We can then take payment for delivering the new product and also any extra cost between the products you are exchanging. Once payment is received and we have also received the product back at your cost and inspected it, we will then dispatch the new product immediately.

16. Are GreenSea Hydroponics ordering and payment systems secure?

Yes, GreenSea Hydroponics use Sagepay, an online payment service provider highly recommended by many banks. Sagepay take your credit or debit card details for payment securely and we GreenSea do not receive any of your card details, only your order, name and delivery address to dispatch your goods. Sagepay use the secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption protocol and 3D secure protocol to collect and protect your details, making it 100% safe to shop online with GreenSea Hydroponics.

17. What is 3D secure?

Visa developed the 3D secure protocol to improve the security for customers shopping online, called the Verified by Visa service. Mastercard have also adopted this protocol under the name Mastercard Securecode.

3D secure is an XML based protocol which is used as an added layer of security to help prevent fraud for customers choosing to shop online with their credit or debit cards, it requires the cardholder to use a personal password to allow the online transaction to go through, this helps to prevent fraud with stolen cards. If you have not shopped online and registered for 3D secure before you will have to, you will be prompted to register when entering your card details in our checkout, its simple and takes only a couple of minutes and once you have enrolled with 3D secure that's it you only need remember your chosen password in the future to continue shopping online with any company that uses 3D secure for payment.
