AEROPONICS has become a very popular method for indoor cultivation, it is clean very fast and offers the highest performance possible from plants if used correctly. Growing with Aeroponics will produce 30 – 40% quicker growth rate from plants compared to plants that are grown in soil, and this technique of cultivating plants will also reward you with a very impressive harvest.Aeroponic systems use very small amounts of growing medium, the roots of the plants are suspended in the air inside a dark chamber and misted at regular intervals with oxygen rich nutrient solution, humidity levels remain at 100% inside root chamber at all times, allowing so much oxygen to the roots is the reason for its speed and success, plant roots have access to water, nutrients and air at the same time, producing extreme root and plant growth. Roots will absorb the nutrients far more easier suspended in the air, requiring far lower nutrient levels to be used in Aeroponic systems, compared to Hydroponics systems. GS POT SYSTEM - HOW IT WORKS
Over the last 17 years Greensea have been growing indoors with Hydroponics, and have designed and built many grow systems and rooms for our own use, and fellow growers that have produced some amazing results. Our latest creation and one of our best is the GS Pot System. Aeroponics was becoming a most popular method for indoor cultivation, we decided to design and build an Aeroponic system that would allow the grower to start from seed or cutting, and then grow large plants in system to full maturity and harvest without having to purchase or use any other equipment. True Aeroponics involves creating a fine mist to deliver nutrient solution to the roots, this is the best method but for the average grower it can be too expensive to purchase equipment needed. We have designed the GS Pot System as partial Aeroponic systems, delivering small droplets of nutrient solution through the air in the root chamber. A much more affordable option that has proven to give great results, giving all growers the chance to experience Aeroponics.All systems require no cutting or drilling of parts and can be assembled within minutes, full instructions are provided with all systems. Once set up water tank can be filled and pump plugged into timer, we had best results with low EC (nutrient strength) and delivery of water at regular intervals and not permanent. Nutrient solution is pumped and delivered from above into top pot through 2 micro sprinklers, delivery from above ensures no root entanglement with sprinklers. Nutrient solution will drain from top pot (root chamber) through small drain holes into bottom pot, drain pipe is connected at base of bottom pot allowing water to drain and re-circulate to main tank. Propagation domes are supplied with all systems allowing the grower to start from seed or cutting. Use propagation cubes such as Jiffy plugs, Root riots, Rockwool SBS cubes to hold seed or cutting and place in mesh pot with clay pebbles surrounding.____________________________________________________________________~~~99~2458~~
Primary and Secondary roots grow extremely fast in the GS Pot System, pictures show root development over a 21 day period, a good root system will help produce large healthy plants with a bumper harvest.
